Typica is one of the oldest and most celebrated Arabica varieties, forming the genetic foundation for many modern coffee cultivars. Known for its elegant sweetness, bright acidity, and clean, balanced cup, Typica thrives in the high-altitude microclimates of Huila. On Finca Los Nogales, this variety develops refined flavors with subtle fruit and floral notes, reflecting both its heritage and the meticulous care of the Hernández family.

Process

Washed / Experimental Decaf

This coffee was hand-picked and washed before undergoing a long, controlled fermentation to enhance sweetness and complexity. It was then decaffeinated using a sugarcane Ethyl Acetate (EA) process, where naturally derived EA gently removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s vibrant fruit notes and clean profile.
